What am I doing here?

Okay, I really don't know why I am doing this.  As a 61 year old, semi-working, nearly retired woman and mother of a 21 year old college junior, I hate to be an outsider.  I like new things and am quite fascinated by new technology.  I  have always wanted to write so I thought that blogging might be a fun way to combine technology and do a bit of writing at the same time.  I don't think I have anything earth-shattering to add to the world of blogging, but I just thought it would be fun to try out. What do I have to lose?  I hope nothing.
